Packed, Stacked and Jacked is a series of five competitions all taking place at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Champion, PA.  The event’s primary sponsors are The Jib Shop, an online subsidiary of Willi’s Ski Shops, and Seven Springs Mountain Resort.  The winner of the open division will walk away with thousands of dollars in equipment, compliments of TheJibShop.com .

The series kick off event is scheduled for January 23rd at 4:00 in the Foggy Goggle Bowl.  Each competition offers prizes for 1st, 2rd  and 3rd place for ladies and men in the ski and snowboard divisions.  In addition to the prizes, points will be awarded to the top 25 finishers based on the percentage of competitors in each division.  Twelve major snow sports manufacturers are sponsoring the event:  Line Skis, Ride Snowboards, K2 Skis, K2 Snowboards, Oakley, Salomon, D/C, Nordica, Gnu, Monster Energy Drink, Atomic, Rome and Skull Candy. 

On March 13th, the competitor with the most points will walk away with a full ski setup to include skis, boots, bindings, poles, a full snowboard set up to include a board, bindings and boots, a helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, and goggles compliments of Thejibshop.com.  They’ll also walk away with a season’s pass to Seven Springs for the 2010-2011 season. To keep the event exciting for the next generation of athletes, a full onn-year sponsorship from Atomic for skiers and Rome for snowboarders will be given to the Under 18 competitors.

“We’re proud to give athletes in our area a chance to compete in an event of this magnitude” said Katy Rullo, Willi’s Events Manager.  “Our area is producing some amazing athletes, like Kristi Leskinen and Tom Wallisch.  But athletes usually have to move out west to get attention in snow sports.  We hope that this event will bring the spotlight to our local talent right here in our own back yard.”  Rullo is hopeful that the event will attract large numbers of competitors, “Our Facebook fan page is being followed by over 400 athletes from both coasts.  I hope that many plan on coming out to compete.”
